In Julika Rudelius’ film Forever, wealthy American women over the age of 60 talk about what beauty means to them. Their tight-drawn faces and injected lips are testament to the fact that they have not shunned cosmetic surgery in order to look young and attractive. Yet the women continue to claim with great conviction that outer beauty is not as important to them as inner beauty.
