This is presumably a portrait of Willem van Warmondt (1583-1649). He owned ’t Gecroonde Ancker brewery, was a burgomaster of Haarlem and held various positions in the Calivermen Civic Guard. He is portrayed as a captain in Hals’ 1627 painting of the Calivermen (right, in the foreground, number 3).
