The left panel (Christmas) depicts the new born Christ with his parents Joseph and Mary. In the background, an angel announces the birth to the shepherds. The central panel (Good Friday) shows ‘Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews’(INRI at the top of the cross), crucified as a criminal among criminals. Below the cross is the skull of Adam, the first man and also the first ‘sinner’. The right panel (Easter) renders the resurrection of Christ from his grave.
