Boris Mikhailov (Kharkhov, 1938) is a Ukrainian photographer, who lives and works in the Ukraine and Berlin. His photographs often revolve around the theme of Ukraine’s split from the former Soviet Union. Topics such as poverty, social oppression and addiction are evident in many of his photographs and exhibitions.

His work has been shown at The Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo, the Barbican Art Gallery in London, and Frans Hals Museum – Hal.
