Herman Justus Kruyder
Herman Kruyder completed his education at the School of Applied Arts in Haarlem around 1900. He then remained in Haarlem to work, and in around 1905 he became a member of the visual artists association, ‘Kunst Zij Ons Doel’ (‘Art Be Our Aim’). In 1919, he left Haarlem and worked in various places across the Netherlands, such as Heemstede, Blaricum and Amsterdam. Herman Kruyder was a student of Heinrich Martin Krabbé (the father of Maarten Krabbé).
