Follow the trail back was the title of a small presentation in the foyer of the Frans Hals Museum around the restored, 16th-century triptych with the Lamentation of Christ by Jan Mostaert on the central panel. From the multifaceted research into this triptych, new data had emerged about the manufacture and the dating. In addition to the triptych, the exhibition included photographs, design drawings, books and an illustrated file about the research.
