The Frans Hals Museum is in full bloom
It is not an everyday sight: fresh flowers or plants in a museum. Yet, every year, for a limited period of time, the Frans Hals Museum is in full bloom.
The rooms full of old masters and contemporary art will be decorated with with colourful and breathtaking flower arrangements in vases, both design and historic, from our own collection, including by Bernard Heesen. The VIP team of the Friends of the Frans Hals Museum, led by Vibeke Struben, is responsible for the first part of Museum in Bloei. Around mid April, floral artist Paul Wijkmeijer and his team will take over. The result is a very special atmosphere in the tulip season when the nearby Keukenhof is open.
