The loose touch of Frans Hals
Take on the role of the famous painter Frans Hals! He was already famous in his own time for his loose ‘touch’ – the way in which he painted – and still are today. Step behind the easel, grab a brush and paint a portrait in his style.
In this workshop you will learn more about the way Frans Hals painted. Under the guidance of an experienced museum teacher, and working with brush and paint, you will paint a portrait.
Tip: We will give you an apron, but to be on the safe side, wear clothes which can handle a paint splatter!
During the May holiday (22 April – 7 May) you can join this workshop every day* from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m and from 2:30 – 4 p.m.
