A weekend bursting with art, dance, and performance
On January 28 and 29, Haarlem will be Boring. This vibrant new festival will bring the city a much-needed celebration of art, theater, and dance. The festival takes place in the leading cultural organizations of Haarlem: Philharmonie Haarlem, Teylers Museum, Noord- Hollands Archief, Patronaat, Frans Hals Museum location Hal, De Vishal and the Schuur.
Experience groundbreaking hip-hop in a historic museum. See in-your-face modern art in a pop venue. Run into experimental theatre performances that will rock your world. Dance your ass off till sunrise. Come on over to ‘view differently, see more’ in location Hal of the Frans Hals Museum.
Haarlem city center as a festival terrain
The city center of Haarlem is the perfect festival terrain, and all our venues are only a ten-minute walk apart. Your personal Boring wristband gives you access to all seven locations. If you are coming from out of town and want to stay for the whole weekend, check out one of our sweet hotel deals. We also have many restaurants in the city catering very ‘Boring’ meals (no, they actually do use seasoning).
The program for Boring will be announced in the upcoming months.
