On 10 January, construction work starts at Frans Hals Museum’s HOF location on Groot Heiligland to enable us to provide an even better visitor experience with a new entrance and shop. Our Groot Heiligland location will be closed for a few weeks starting on 10 January. We look forward to welcoming you again from 14 February.
Meanwhile, our HAL location on Grote Markt remains open every Wednesday to Sunday featuring The Rhythm of the Night. From 11 January to 12 February tickets to this video exhibition are half price. Free entrance for visitors aged 18 or under.
The new entrance and shop are designed by recent German Design Award winners Claessens Erdmann. This improved accessibility has been made possible with support from our partner: VriendenLoterij. VriendenLoterij lottery participants can visit Frans Hals Museum free of charge by showing their VIP-KAART card.
