Cheers!

Frans Hals’s civid guards and Aart Taminiau’s young revellers raise a toast to a prosperous 2022! They might be socially-distanced, but that certainly doesn’t detract from their enjoyment. We’d like to take this opportunity to wish you a happy and healthy New Year, and one that’s brimming with art and viewing pleasure. The Frans Hals Museum can supply the latter in abundance, and we hope to welcome you to our Hof and Hal locations on a frequent basis. After all, art is food for the soul. It compels us to view things differently. It reveals unexpected opportunities and hidden stories. And we could all do with some of that in these extraordinary times. We look forward to challenging you, throughout 2022, to look at things differently in order to see more. View the Frans Hals Museum’s 2022 programme here
