Discover the Frans Hals Museum with kids

What is there for you to see and do?

Pick up a scavenger hunt at reception before you start your visit. The booklet contains a fun search for details assignment, plus a colouring-in pic which you need to complete. Or get creative and draw a colourful portrait with tips & trics from artist Jesse Strikwerda. .

Peek inside the 18th-century doll’ s house which has a thousand small objects. The doll’s house now has new improved lighting so you can get an even better peek inside. Or join the painting workshop or the children’s tour during the school holidays. (the tour and workshop are in Dutch)

Fun activities during the school holidays

During the Autumn holidays you can join the the painting workshop in the Frans Hals Museum.

Discover stories during the children’s tour and participate in fun assignments that make you look at the paintings and each other differently. Or learn to paint with the ‘loose touch’ of the famous painter Fans Hals at the painting workshop. All kids activities are in Dutch.
