Frans Hals offers groups of 15 people or more, who are visiting the Frans Hals Museum as part of an organised tour, a substantially reduced entrance fee (more information about admission prices can be found here). What’s more, each group of 15 to 20 people receives one complimentary ticket for their guide or driver (applicable only for tourist companies not using a Frans Hals Museum guide). Groups can pay directly at the ticket office upon arrival. Alternatively, it is also possible to hand in a voucher, after which you will receive an invoice based on subsequent calculation.

We really appreciate knowing in advance if a party of 15 people or more are coming to visit. Which is why we ask groups to let us know of their forthcoming visit by contacting us via e-mail. And please don’t forget to let us know if you’ll be accompanied by a guide.

We would like to inform guides and groups that the ideal number for a visiting group is 15 people or less. The reason for this is that some of our exhibition rooms are too small for larger groups to fully enjoy the paintings.

Groups travelling by coach can board and alight on the corner of Gasthuisvest and Groot Heiligland, near the entrance to the Hof location. The coach driver can then park at the parking facilities on Dreef near the Provinciehuis (closest to the museum, with two spaces), or at Gonnetstraat (Stationsbuurt, with two spaces).
