How to Act
The installation How to Act offers an immersive cinematic experience without the use of film images. On the basis of bundles of coloured light, which perform a choreography to a soundtrack of sometimes romantic, sometimes exhilarating film music, the viewer is presented with a series of evocative ‘scenes’. Each viewer will thereby create their own story with their own imagination, in their mind. How to Act has assumed different forms over the years. It is always a site specific installation; this version was acquired by the Frans Hals Museum | De Hallen Haarlem in 2015.
