Still Life
This year Guido Geelen (1961) was invited for the annual flower exhibition to show his sculptures in the permenant presentation of 16th and 17th century paintings. Two life-size casts of a man were filled with white blossom branches.
A cow’s head made of baked red clay was turned into a bizarre flowervase, and large gold leaf-covered irises were perfect for the lavish Goudleerzaal.
