The partly clothed woman is very reminiscent of the legendary Semiramis. She wears only a carelessly draped cloak, but has already put on her beret, as if to depart. Semiramis was an Assyrian queen from the ninth century BC. One morning while dressing, she was alerted that an uprising had broken out in Babylonia. Unkempt and partly clothed, she departed for battle and defeated the insurgents. She was the epitome of courage and determination.
